The project aims to explore whether organizational changes can help address the shortage of healthcare professionals in municipal home care services.
These changes include implementing new work-hour arrangements and redistributing responsibilities and tasks among different personnel groups.
The project will examine whether these organizational changes lead to reduced time pressure and workload, difficulties in recruiting and retaining nurses, and impacts on the quality of care.
These questions will be investigated through a nationwide web-based survey targeting members of the Norwegian Nurses Organization (Norsk Sykepleierforbund) working in municipal home care services.
The findings from the project will be disseminated in a report published at NOVA.
