Emnet er åpent for kandidater på ph.d.-programmet i Utdanningsvitenskap for lærerutdanning, ph.d.-kandiater fra andre relevante programmer, og ansatte i undervisnings- og forskningsstillinger.

    Admission requirements

    The admission requirement is a five-year master’s degree (three years + two years), or equivalent qualification or other qualifications in teacher education, educational science or development studies. 

    In case of a large number of applicants, PhD candidates enrolled in the PhD programme in Educational Sciences for Teacher Education or other programmes will be prioritized, then other academic employees at the Faculty of Teacher Education and International Studies, then external applicants. 

    Applicants that are not enrolled on the PhD-programme at the Faculty of Education and International Studies at OsloMet must send a summary in English of maximum one A4 sheet with relevant information about their own project / area of interest, containing topic, methodology, theoretical approach, and why this course might be relevant for their project.

    Det er obligatorisk for alle førstegangssøkjarar å gjere dette. Søknader som manglar steg 2 eller 3 vil ikkje bli behandla.

    The places will be filled in accordance with "first come, first served" until we reach the admission capacity.

    If you have previously taken a PhD course in the PhD programme in Educational Sciences for Teacher Education, you should still have the admission and can apply via Studentweb (student.oslomet.no). If you have problems with applying, please contact us at phd-lui@oslomet.no. 

    If you are a first time applicant, please follow this recipe:

    1. Register your application in SøknadsWeb 

    2. Fill in the  attachment form (hioa.no)

    3. Upload the attachment form and required documentation in SøknadsWeb

    It is mandatory to do all steps within the application deadline.

    Applications without attachment form and/or required documentation will not be processed. The attachment form tells you what documentation you need.
