About
My main area of expertise is specialist nursing for children, with particular expertise in qualitative research methods. My research has been aimed at children with complex health challenges and a need for long-term follow-up, including rehabilitation after acquired brain injury, follow-up of spinal cord injury, as well as issues related to the use of coercion in the treatment of children. I have also worked with the development and evaluation of digital and interdisciplinary follow-up solutions. I have contributed to the development of new knowledge about children's and families' experiences in the health service, with particular emphasis on patient and family perspectives. My professional contributions have particularly strengthened the understanding of how complex rehabilitation pathways can be adapted to the needs of children and families, as well as how digital interventions can contribute to increased accessibility and quality in follow-up.
