About

I am Head of Programme at the Department of Early Childhood Education (BLU) at OsloMet. I am a qualified teacher and have extensive experience in the school sector as both a classroom teacher and a school leader. As a school leader, I was responsible for supervising student teachers during their practicum placements and coordinating university-school partnerships. I also have broad experience in staff management and project leadership. In 2024, I completed a Master's degree in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Educational Leadership.

My research interests focus on collaboration and partnerships between early childhood education settings, schools, and teacher education institutions, as well as professional knowledge development, educational improvement work, and career pathways in education. I have participated in the research project iPAR (In Partnership for Enhanced Professional Competence and Practice-Relevant Teacher Education) and have contributed to research on teachers’ participation in collaborations with teacher education institutions. I have also been involved in research and development projects examining how partnerships can strengthen the quality of professional education programmes.
