About
Ingrid holds a Master's Degree in Geography with Teacher Education, NTNU. Her master's thesis studied interconnections between climate change and migration, and the thesis was nominated in the category Award for innovative master's thesis in geography at the Winter Seminar in Human Geography at UiO in 2020.
She has teaching experience from upper secondary schools in Oslo and Trondheim, and as assistant professor at OsloMet.
Her doctoral project examines the shaping of geographical knowledge in the social studies curriculum in the Norwegian curriculum Kunnskapsløftet 2020. The study analyses interview data, curriculum documents, and policy documents related to the Norwegian curriculum development process.
Research interests are development of curriculum and geographical knowledge in the context of primary and secondary education. Other areas are methodological issues in qualitative research, including research ethics.
Ingrid is currently in the final stages of my doctoral work.
