About

As an Assistant Professor at the Department of Art, Design, and Drama at OsloMet, I specialize in the intersection of art and digital development processes. My teaching portfolio covers a wide range of subjects, including painting, video art, Makerspace, art mediation, digital drawing, 3D modeling, digital media, social media, and entrepreneurship in art and design.

I teach in the bachelor's programs in Art, Design and Mediation, and Fashion and Production, as well as in the five-year master's program in Teacher Education for Practical and Aesthetic Subjects. Additionally, I offer courses in continuing education within aesthetic disciplines.

My research is focused on innovative method development for maker-centered learning, including the use of makerspace technology and maker methodologies in aesthetic subjects. Furthermore, I work on developing methods for process documentation of artistic work progression, particularly through the use of sketchbooks as tools for documenting painting processes. Through this work, I aim to promote a deeper understanding of how artistic practice can be integrated into educational contexts to enhance student learning outcomes.
