Mona Sandbæk

About

Mona Sandbæk is Professor Emeritus. She holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Trondheim/University of Washington in Seattle. The last two decades child poverty has been her main field of research. As a member of the Cost Action 18123 European Family Support Network since 2017, family policy and support has been a research focus. Earlier research has centred on Children’s rights and Child welfare and protection services. In 2004-2006 she was seconded to the Council of Europe, by the Norwegian Ministry of Children and Equality and has later been involved in different Council of Europe activities.
