Førsteamanuensis i naturfag ved BLU. Har Cand. scient.-grad i zoologi og doktorgrad i evolusjonsbiologi fra Universitetet i Oslo, hvor jeg også har jobbet som forsker. Min forskning har fokusert på ærlige og uærlige signaler hos dyr og hvordan de forsvarer seg mot sine naturlige fiender. Hovedverktøy har vært matematisk modellering .
