About
Sezer Kisa is a Professor in Global Health Nursing within the Department of Nursing and Health Promotion, Faculty of Health Sciences. She earned her doctoral degree in Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey in 2007. With over twenty-five years of teaching experience across various levels, from Bachelor of Science to doctoral programs, Kisa has contributed significantly to nursing education.
In addition to her academic role, Sezer Kisa has established a strong presence in the international arena. She has collaborated with institutions in the United States, Malta, Finland, Norway, and several other European Union countries. Her research interests encompass a wide spectrum, focusing on global health, women and adolescent health, social inequality, domestic violence against women, and nursing. She is a research leader of the research group- Migration and Minority Health. Winner of OsloMet Award for 2023 Research and Development.
