Stine is Head of Studies for Study Area 3: Norwegian, and has particular responsibility for research and development (R&D) at the institute. She is currently on leave from her position as Senior Adviser in the Department of Research and Development. Stine holds a PhD in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Oslo (UiO) and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher on a Research Council-funded project on multilingualism in schools.
