Stine jobber i seksjon for forskning og samfunnsforbedringer med oppgaver knyttet til ekstern finansiering av forskning og tverrsektorielt samarbeid særlig med kommunesektoren. Hun er også sekretær for OsloMets redelighetsutvalg. Stine har en ph. d. i engelsk språk og lingvistikk fra UiO og har vært postdoktor i et forskningsrådsfinansiert prosjekt om flerspråklighet i skolen.
