Marianne Takle

About

Marianne Takle is research professor in the department of health and welfare studies and participates in the research group on migration and transnationality. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Oslo. Her research interests include European integration, EU migration policy, national migration policy in selected European countries, national identity and the integration of immigrants in the light of nationalism and cultural studies. Since joining NOVA in 2008, she has worked on the link between welfare and migration at local, national and European levels. Takle was visiting fellow at POLIS, University of Cambridge (Autumn 2010) and at Europa-Kollege, Universität Hamburg (Autumn 2014).
