About

Assistant professor with profession graphic design and product design. Teaches and supervises ceramic production techniques and exploration of the aesthetic qualities in cement-based materials. Workshop coordinator at the department. In charge of HSE in the ceramic section. Course leader for first-year bachelor students. Knowledge and skills in product design, industrial design and graphic design in general, as well as design concept development, project management and form development in particular. Specialized in material processing of concrete, porcelain and other ceramic materials. Bachelor with a focus on product design and product development from the Department of Product Design at the former Akershus University College, Oslo Metropolitan University. Experience from the graphic design and marketing business, since 1986. Received the Design Excellence Award from the Norwegian Design Council in 2001 for Bake it Easy which is produced and sold by Porsgrunds Porselensfabrikk. Nominated for the award Teacher of the Year at OsloMet in 2016, 2020, 2022 og 2023. Member of expert panel at The Research Council of Norway.
