1986 Eksamen fra Ergoterapihøyskolen i Oslo og Master of Science i ergoterapi i 2004.
Utdanning i forebyggende og helsefremmende arbeid, sosiologi grunnfag og prosjektledelse.
Deltatt i EU-prosjekter om demens og teknologi; TED, ENABLE og MPOWER. Ledet prosjekt om tekniske hjelpemidler til yngre personer med demens i 2009-2011, finansiert av Helsedirektoratet. Siste prosjekt handlet om hvordan teknologi og tilpasninger i hjemmet kunne muliggjøre at personer med demens bor i eget hjem (2014-2015). Begynte som stipendiat 1. mars 2016 og stillingen er knyttet til Assisted Living Project, som er finansiert av NFR.
