About
Assistant professor at the Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Health Sciences. Research areas include children with disabilities and their families, such as parental empowerment, child participation in family and recreational activities, and services directed at children and families. Teaches and supervises students at bachelor's and master's level related to the field of physiotherapy for children and youth. Involved in the multiprofessional teaching project INTERACT and member of the research groups (Re)habilitation – Individuals, Services and Society and CHILDLIFE.

Optimising health literacy amongst parents with immigrant backgrounds (OPAL)
The aim of the OPAL project is to develop knowledge about the health literacy of parents with immigrant backgrounds, as well as design and evaluate solutions to promote their health literacy.
