About
Bård Ketil Engen is a sociologist (M.Phil and Dr. Polit from the University of Oslo). His research interests include the framework for and use of digital technologies in teaching and learning in primary schools and teacher education and many of the research project he has engaged over the last 25 years have explored these aspects. He has participated in various research and development projects related to digital literacy, both funded internally and externally. He has published books and numerous book chapters, reports as well as conference papers and articles within the field of technology enhanced learning. His teaching and supervision tasks are related to aspects around digital literacy at Bachelor, Master’s and PhD level, CPD, as well as school placement. His main research interests include several areas of technology enhanced learning, such as: Cyber ethics, digital citizenship, education policy, curriculum, digital literacy, and technology adaption.
