About
Mona-Lisa Angell graduated as a preschool teacher from the University College of Oslo's pilot project 'Multicultural Preschool Teacher Education' in 2005. She holds a master's degree in multicultural and international education from the University College of Oslo and Akershus (2008), and a Ph.d. from the University of Southeast Norway's PhD program for Humanities, Culture, and Education Science.
Angell served as the editor-in-chief of the journal Barnehagefolk from 2010 to 2017. She has taught pedagogy at the University College of Vestfold (2007-2010), the Inland University of Applied Sciences (2017-2018), and OsloMet University (2018- today).
Angell's research spans across pedagogy, art, philosophy, and politics, and grows from three main interests: 'relations between pedagogy, difference-production, and justice', 'relations between generations, species, and landscapes', and 'relations between research methodology, difference-production, and justice'.
