Mona-Lisa Angell

About

Mona-Lisa Angell graduated as a preschool teacher from the University College of Oslo's pilot project 'Multicultural Preschool Teacher Education' in 2005 and holds a master's degree in multicultural and international education from the University College of Oslo and Akershus (2008).

Angell served as the editor-in-chief of the journal Barnehagefolk from 2010 to 2017. She has taught pedagogy at the University College of Vestfold (2007-2010), the Inland University of Applied Sciences (2017-2018), and OsloMet University (2018-). From September 2020 to March 2025, Angell was a doctoral candidate and submitted her thesis at the University of Southeast Norway's PhD program for Humanities, Culture, and Education Science.

Angell's research spans across pedagogy, art, philosophy, and politics, and grows from three main interests: 'relations between pedagogy, difference-production, and justice', 'relations between generations, species, and landscapes', and 'relations between research methodology, difference-production, and justice'.
