About
Nathalie Hyde-Clarke (PhD) is a Professor in Media and Communication. She served as the Vice Dean for Education in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Oslo Metropolitan University (Norway) (2021-2025) and as a Head of Department in four higher education institutions in South Africa, Finland and Norway respectively (2007-2021) while maintaining a strong teaching presence and research focus in communication, culture and media studies. Her research considers the evolving relationship between media and society, and its effect on different communities and sectors. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA, England).

U-YouPa – Understanding Youth Participation and Media literacy in Digital Dialogue Spaces
The key goal of this project is to provide a research-based understanding of the interconnection between cultural and technological preconditions for strengthening youth participation in digital dialogue spaces.
