FORSKNINGSINTERESSE

Min forskning undersøker hvordan biblioteker og kulturinstitusjoner fremmer sosial inkludering, medborgerengasjement og demokratisk deltakelse. Gjennom empiriske studier og teoretiske innsikter undersøker jeg deres rolle i å fremme interkulturell dialog, støtte integrering og bidra til den offentlige sfæren, samtidig som jeg vurderer de profesjonelle ferdighetene og rolleimplikasjonene for bibliotekarer. Mitt overordnede mål er å få innsikt i hvordan bibliotektjenester basert på brukerdeltakelse kan møte samfunnsutfordringer og legge til rette for demokratiske prosesser. I tillegg har jeg som mål å gi innsikt som optimaliserer bibliotekpraksis og -politikk for å forbedre tjenestelevering til diverse samfunn, fremme samfunnsbygging og styrke demokrati.
