Lisbeth Løvbak Berg

About

Lisbeth is a PhD Fellow at the Institute for Art, Design and Drama and a researcher at SIFO, focusing on sustainable clothing consumption. She is a Fashion Futurist and designer with years of experience, both as a consultant and a business owner, as well as teaching at Middlesex University, London. She has a master's degree in fashion and sustainability from the MA Fashion Futures course at London College of Fashion where she did consumer research and examined the designer’s role in future scenarios based on sustainable clothing consumption. Her research interests are clothing and textiles, design futuring, sustainability and consumption, and bringing diverse perspectives into the research and conversations around these topics. In her PhD project, Lisbeth will examine the feasibility of the EU Ecodesign regulations to reduce environmental impacts from clothing consumption.
