Teaches general research methodology and quantitative methods, as well as continuing education in economic counseling for economic advisors at Nav. Has also taught quantitative methods at several universities and colleges in Norway.
- Education: Master's degree in Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School (1987), Master's degree in Sociology from UiO (1993), and Doctor of Philosophy (dr. polit.) in Sociology from UiO (2005).
- Research fields: Households' economic situation, financial counseling, Nav (Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration), social justice, the welfare state professions, and organization of welfare services.
- Textbooks: Has published a number of textbooks on research methodology and quantitative methods.

In this project, we investigate how the Norwegian qualification programme can contribute to stable work attachment for the participants and function as an effective tool for work inclusion.
