Katarina Pajchel

About

Katarina Pajchel is a physicist and teacher educator. She teaches and supervises at the science teacher education programme, from bachelor to PhD level. Her teaching covers subjects and subject didactics in physics, technology, programming and sustainable development. Her research interests are computational thinking and programming in science education and research-based teacher education. In recent years, she has participated in the research project TRELIS (Teachers' Research Literacy for Science teaching) and been co-leader of MASCOT (Mathematics, Science and Computational Thinking). She is also engaged in the field of school practice as a long-standing contact person for a university school and through DeKomp projects. Pajchel has a PhD from the University of Oslo in experimental particle physics linked to the CERN laboratory.
