About

I teach physics, technology, and science education in the teacher education programme, and supervise bachelor- and master students. My research interests include use of models, modelling, simulation, and programming in science education as well as research-based science teacher education. My research is part of the TRELIS (Teachers’ Research Literacy for Science teaching) and MASCOT (Mathematics, Science and Computational Thinking) projects. Before teacher education, my background is in scientific modelling, and I have a PhD in physics from the University of Oslo working with simulation of radiation damage to biomolecules.
