Prosjektet skal fremme ungdoms vilje og engasjement i offentlig ytring og deltakelse. Søndre Media vil etablere en medietjeneste for og av ungdom i Søndre Nordstrand, en medialab, og et opplæringsopplegg for offentlig ytring og publisering.
