Jeg er professor for anvendt informasjonssikkerhet. Jeg forsker og underviser i områdene cybersikkerhet, digital personvern, informasjonssikkerhet, digitale identiteter, personvernsteknologi og risikovurdering innenfor personvern og informasjonssikkerhet.
Jeg underviser mange temaområder innen informatikk, blant annet tingenes internett (IoT), nettverkssikkerhet og innebygget personvern (Privacy by design). Jeg veileder bachelor- og masteroppgaver, gjerne i kontakt med industri, foreninger og offentlige organisasjoner.
