About

Tone Nygaard Flølo has expertise in obesity and quality of life research, currently contributing as head of the Quality-of-Life research group at Faculty of health sciences, OsloMet. She is a research collaborator at Haukeland university hospital, affiliated to the project FatWest - Bariatric Surgery on the West Coast of Norway. Her research is focused on long-term outcomes of obesity treatment in adults and children, dedicated to improving patient care and expanding research on severe obesity, fostering innovation and teamwork within the academic and medical communities. Flølo is a course leader for the bachelor's thesis at Department of nursing and health promotion, and lectures and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students on topics related to health and quality of life. She is a board member of the national research network LIVSFORSK and associated member of ChildObesity180.
