Linda Kvæl er postdoktor ved fakultet for helsevitenskap, tilknyttet forskergruppen Aldring, Helse og Velferd, og forsker II for NOVA, seksjon for aldersforskning og boligstudier. Hun har doktorgrad i helsevitenskap fra OsloMet. Kvæl har klinisk erfaring som fysioterapeut fra kommunehelsetjenesten med mastergrad i rehabilitering av eldre personer. Forskningen hennes omfatter kvalitet i helse- og omsorgstjenester for eldre personer og deres pårørende, med spesielt fokus på deltakelse, aktiv aldring i kontekst, personsentrert omsorg og implementering av evidensbasert kunnskap.
