Ira Malmberg-Heimonen is a professor of social work at OsloMet, Department of Social Work, Child Welfare, and Social Policy. Her area of interest is research and development of interventions, as well as their evaluation. She has special expertise in evaluating interventions through randomized controlled trials. Her research includes analyses of different types of interventions where interaction and interprofessional collaboration are central. She has extensive expertise in evidence-based methods, implementation quality, and program theory.
